Descriptive literature along with an illustration was submitted. The item you plan to import is described as an all purpose drill water pump, Item Number 34302. This plastic pump incorporates a ¼ inch shaft that will connect to any household drill and has two threaded ends that will attach to any standard garden hose. The pump can be used to drain small pools, spas or water beds.  The applicable subheading for the drill powered water pump will be 8413.70.2090, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other centrifugal pumps. The rate of duty is free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. The text of the most recent HTSUS and the accompanying duty rates are provided on World Wide Web at http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
