The item concerned is a Planet Pinion Shaft (Part # QNA-79607). The item is a small, polished, steel shaft with a hollow center, accessible on only one end, and has two holes along its length. The Planet Pinion Shaft provides the center axis for planet gears in a planetary gear set utilized in a transmission under drive. The holes provide a path for oil to flow which allows for lubrication. The Planet Pinion Shaft measures 1 ½ inches in height and 6mm in diameter.
