Dear Mr. MacLean: In your letter dated August 9, 2007, on behalf of Menards, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The Grill Butler is a multifunctional floor-standing outdoor grilling and serving accessory. It consists of a steel cart with a removable bamboo butcher block top. There are two additional steel shelves, a steel condiment basket and nine metal hooks for hanging grill utensils like spatulas and tongs. The cart is equipped with four locking wheels for mobility. The cart measures 34 inches high by 15 inches wide by 15 inches deep. The applicable subheading for the Grill Butler will be 9403.20.0030, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Other furniture and parts thereof: Other metal furniture: Other: Other.” The rate of duty will be free.
