Item no. 45751 is described as Hazelnut Baking Paste. The product will be imported in 12.5 kilogram polypropylene pails. The merchandise is said to be used as a filling in baking. It is said to contain 39.67 percent sugar, 19.84 percent partly cooked hazelnuts, 15.07 percent water, 8.26 percent glucose syrup (81.5 brix), 7.93 percent modified corn starch, 2.65 percent starch, 0.20 percent cocoa powder, 0.20 percent caramelized sugar, and 0.03 percent salt. The applicable subheading for the Hazelnut Baking Paste will be 2106.90.9997, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for food preparations not elsewhere specified or included…other…other… containing sugar derived from sugar cane and/or sugar beets. The rate of duty will be 6.4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
