As stated in previous correspondence with this office, the circular knit fabric was manufactured in the U.S. and sent to Hungary where it is plated with silver and gold. The plated fabric is then returned to the U.S. where it is used to make a component incorporated into your NovaSure surgical device. The additional information you have provided indicates the surgical device is used for endometrial ablation treatment. The fabric serves as a component of the NovaSure device that delivers the electromagnetic energy. The device and the fabric are removed as soon as the procedure is complete.
