Dear Ms. Hodur: In your letter dated February 13, 2007, you requested a tariff classification ruling on behalf of Chaps Men’s. As requested, your samples are being returned. Styles D83706, D83712 and D83713 are men’s shirts constructed from 100% cotton, woven, yarn dyed plaid flannel fabric. The garments have a full lining of a quilted woven taffeta fabric with a lightweight fiberfill batting. Styles D83706, D83712 and D83713 feature a self-fabric spread collar; a left over right, full front opening secured by six button closures; patch pockets on the chest with flaps and button closures; long vented sleeves with a one button closure on each cuff; side seam pockets below the waist; and a curved hemmed bottom. The submitted garments are in size Medium.
