You have submitted a picture of a two-part dish, identified as item 58740, made of translucent acrylic plastic. It consists of two shallow bowls joined by a narrow bridge. The larger compartment has a capacity of one cup; the smaller compartment has a capacity of one-half cup. The descriptive literature suggests that the dish or bowl is suitable for serving olives, pickles, nuts, candy or cheese cubes or may be used to hold dips and sauces. The applicable subheading for the compartmented relish dish will be 3924.10.4000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for tableware, kitchenware, other household articles…of plastics: tableware and kitchenware: other. The rate of duty will be 3.4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
