Dear Ms. Wu: In your letter dated November 16, 2006, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise under consideration is wooden bedroom furniture. The applicable subheading for wooden bedroom furniture will be 9403.50.9080, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Other furniture and parts thereof: Wooden furniture of a kind used in the bedroom… Other.” The rate of duty will be Free. You have inquired as to whether the subject merchandise is subject to antidumping duties if imported for personal use. You also request further information regarding antidumping duty rates.
