The subject product, Haloperidol, is indicated for use as an antipsychotic drug. It is also indicated for use as an antidyskinetic drug to control the symptoms of Gilles de la Tourette’s disorder. The applicable subheading for Haloperidol, imported in bulk form, will be 2933.39.3100, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only: Compounds containing an unfused pyridine ring (whrther or not hydrogenated) in the structure: Other: Other: Drugs: Antidepressants, tranquilizers and other psychotherapeutic agents.” Pursuant to General Note 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
