Product description

The item in question is the Kenmore Freezer-Mate Monitor (Model #9000). It’s a portable, wireless remote monitor that uses an LCD screen to display the status of a designated Kenmore Elite Freezer. When placed up to 100 feet from the freezer, this monitor will display current freezer temperature and alert you both visually and audibly to certain freezer conditions. An alarm will sound when the temperature inside the freezer rises above a certain level and the LCD display will alternate between the current temperature and the duration of the condition. There are also alarms and various icon-displays that activate if the freezer door is ajar, if there is a loss of signal strength or power or if the battery life is running low. This product does not contain a thermometer or any type of temperature controlling mechanism. The thermometer-sending unit is built into certain freezer models.
