Dear Ms. Trotta: In your letter dated June 21, 2006 you requested a tariff classification ruling. The sample that you have submitted will be returned to you as requested. The merchandise has been described as a tube key with lanyard, model IRKEYLAN. The key is made of stainless steel and can be detached from the lanyard. You have stated that the tube key will be used with tube products such as hair color or gel and marketed in hair salons. The key slips onto the end of a tube and by manually turning the key, the compression forces the product out of the tube.
