Dear Mr. Kavanaugh: In your letter dated June 30, 2006, on behalf of Laurier Furniture Ltd., you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise under consideration consists of wood TV stands/ entertainment centers. The units are designed to be placed on the floor and feature various shelves and glass doors. You have submitted photographs of items #5661 and #5663 with your request. The applicable subheading for the TV stands/entertainment centers will be 9403.60.8080, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Other furniture and parts thereof: Other wooden furniture: Other, Other.” The rate of duty will be Free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
