Dear Ms. Buckley: In your letter dated May 31, 2006, you requested a tariff classification ruling. A sample was provided with your letter. Additional information, including an ingredients breakdown, was submitted with a second letter received on July 7, 2006. The sample was examined and disposed of. Irishgold Blended Spread is a solid, yellow-colored spread, composed of 52 percent vegetable oil (60 percent canola oil and 40 percent palm oil), 28 percent milk fat, 16.7 percent moisture, 1.8 percent salt, and 1.5 percent curd. The rate of duty will be 13.1 cents per kilogram. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
