Correction to NY M83745. Dear Ms. Lanoue: This replaces Ruling Number M83745, dated June 2, 2006, which contained an error in the textile category designation for the garment. A complete corrected ruling follows. In your letter dated May 22, 2006 you requested a classification ruling. Submitted style 65122673 is a sleeveless garment, characterized by a round neckline that fastens together at the center of the back by means of one button, by a back panel of jersey fabric of 79% rayon/17% nylon/4% spandex, and by a lined, front panel of sequined, raschel lace of 76% rayon/24% nylon. The back and front are stitched together in the overlock fashion. As you have requested, the sample garment is being returned. The applicable subheading for this style will be 6110.30.3059, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for …pullovers…knitted…of man-made fibers, other, other, other, other, other, women’s…, other.
