Dear Ms. Boullet: In your letter dated May 5, 2006, you requested a classification ruling for a woman’s knit garment. The submitted sample, Style #AL2525, is a woman’s garment, similar to a T-shirt constructed from 95% cotton, and 5% elastane jersey knit fabric. The garment weighs less than 200 grams per square meter and features an all over floral design, a round neckline, short hemmed sleeves, and a straight hemmed bottom. The garment has a small label sewn to the outside back panel, just below the neckline. We are returning your sample as you requested.
