A sample was submitted and is being returned as you requested. The item in question, style “Bodypod,” #5650, is a men’s full-body drysuit made from a 100% nylon woven fabric with a visible coating bonded to a flat knit mesh inner fabric. The garment has long sleeves with latex “gaskets” and tabs with hook and loop closures at the ends, ankle length legs with unsized “booties” at the bottom, a neoprene neck seal and two large entry zippers. The suit is worn to stay dry while participating in water sports. The applicable subheading for the drysuit will be 6210.40.5040, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for garments, made up of fabrics of heading 5602, 5603, 5903, 5906 or 5907, men’s or boys’ overalls and coveralls of man-made fibers. The duty rate will be 7.1 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
