Representative samples were submitted and will be returned to you as requested. The submitted samples, designated in your brochure as item number BQ3A, are self-cleaning porcelain briquettes that will be used exclusively in an outdoor grill. The briquettes function as a heat barrier between the burner and the cooking grids.      You indicated in your letter whether this product is subject to quota. This merchandise is not subject to quota restraints or visa requirements. The applicable subheading for the porcelain briquettes will be 6914.10.8000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other ceramic articles: of porcelain or china: other. The rate of duty will be 9 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
