The submitted sample is a pouch (Style #33247-02) that you indicate is constructed of 100 percent polypropylene non-woven fabric. It measures approximately 8½” x 10½” and is closed on three sides and features a drawstring on the fourth side. You state that the pouch will be used to store headsets for protective purposes. The applicable subheading for the pouch will be 6305.39.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for sacks and bags, of a kind used for the packing of goods: of man-made textiles:…other. The rate of duty will be 8.4 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of the ruling or the control number indicated above should be provided with the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
