Dear Mr. Chang: In your letters dated January 27, 2005 and March 9, 2005 you requested a tariff classification ruling. An ingredients breakdown and a product label were submitted with your letters. Shaoxing Cooking Wine is made from rice wine and salt. The wine contains 1.5 percent salt and the alcohol content is 15 percent by volume. The product is packed in a container holding 128 fluid ounces.
