Dear Mr. Weinrauch: In your letter dated January 21, 2005, on behalf of Team Beans, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise to be imported is as follows: Wristband – ST# YANKEES. The article is a 100% silicon wristband that is cut so that it can slip over the wrist without closures or fittings. It is considered to be of plastics for tariff purposes. Magnet – ST # METS. The article is a flexible magnet cut in the shape of a baseball uniform shirt measuring approximately 6 inches in length by 5½ inches across its widest width. The rate of duty will be Free. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
