The instant sample, identified as product number PD643311-1200, consists of a woven open mesh fabric formed of polyolefin plastic filaments measuring less than 1 mm in diameter, which is considered to be textile for tariff purposes. This fabric or scrim has been enveloped on both sides with a lightweight nonwoven fabric which is composed of a polypropylene/polyester man-made fiber blend. This material will be used as an integral component in passenger compartment air intake filter media, for the purpose of removing hydrocarbons.
