Three sample garments were submitted and will be returned as you have requested. Style 5409 is a knitted sleeveless sweater vest with a stitch count measuring less than 9 stitches per 2 centimeters in the direction in which the stitches were formed. The garment is made of 100% wool and features a full front zippered opening. The entire front of the garment is made of a jersey knit fabric while the back panel is made of a rib knit fabric. Style 5445 is a knitted sleeveless sweater vest with a stitch count measuring less than 9 stitches per 2 centimeters in the direction in which the stitches were formed. The duty rate will be 17% ad valorem. Styles 5409, 5445, and 04-0008-09 fall within textile category designation 446. Based upon international textile trade agreements products of Hong Kong are subject to quota and the requirement of a visa. The designated textile and apparel categories and their quota and visa status are the result of international agreements that are subject to frequent renegotiations and changes.
