Logistics 660 Bridge Street Montreal, Quebec Canada H3K 3K9 RE: The tariff classification of a chocolate flavored coating (Product number PS 8549)) from Canada Dear Mr. Forbes: In your letter dated November 18, 2003, on behalf of Barry Callebaut, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The subject merchandise is stated to contain 56.68 percent sugar, 27.84 percent hydrogenated palm kernel oil, 7.87 percent cocoa powder, 7.15 percent calcium caseinate, 0.42 percent soya lecithin and 0.01 percent vanillin. The product contains a total of 7.00 percent non-fat solids of the cocoa bean nib. The merchandise will be imported in 50 pound pails and used for cookie bar enrobing.
