Dear Ms. Conner-Garofalo: In your letter dated June 25, 2003, you requested a tariff classification ruling. Sample is being returned as requested. The submitted sample is a solar-powered light display of a house address, sku number 12907184, that measures about 14 ½ inches long by 5 inches wide by 8 ½ inches high. It consists of a small boulder-shaped resin body with a permanently affixed frontal translucent plastic panel. The rate of duty will be 5.3 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
