Dear Mr. Ashear: In your letter dated May 23, 2003, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The submitted sample will be returned as per your request. Style 3602102 is a lined and insulated gauntlet mitten with a complete palmside from the wrist to fingertip area including the thumb made of a woven fabric with a polyurethane coating on the outer surface. The backside is constructed of both a fleece fabric and a woven nylon fabric.
