Each of the fabrics is identical in fiber content and construction and varies only in the design that has been printed onto the fabric. Each of the fabric is a printed plain woven fabric composed of 100% cotton. They each contain 26.77 single yarns per centimeter in the warp and 22 single yarns per centimeter in the filling. They have been constructed using 27/1 c.c. yarns in both the warp and filling. Weighing 123 g/m2, these fabrics will be in general be imported in 114 centimeter widths however they may be imported at times cut to 22.5” X 18” rectangles. Based on the data provided the average yarn number for these products has been calculated to be 39 in the metric system.

Nine samples of woven fabric accompanied your request for a ruling. The letter also makes reference to 16 other styles that may be imported. The rate of duty will be 6.7 percent ad valorem At the present time, products classifiable in subheading 5208.52.3045, HTS, which are products of Ghana are not subject to either quota restraints or visa requirements. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of the ruling or the control number indicated above should be provided with the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
