The machine belts are parts of NAC’s photofinishing machines. Two samples of machine belts were provided with your letter. Part number A041271-01 is a plastic belt and part number Z016383-01 is a rubber belt. The belts are used for the carrying of and the movement of standard photographic paper or paper trays to the different areas in the photofinishing machines. According to the information provided, the belts are used only within the NAC photofinishing machines. The applicable subheading for part number A041271-010 and part number Z016383-01 will be 9010.90.9000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for apparatus and equipment for photographic laboratories; parts and accessories; other. The rate of duty will be 2.9 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
