Chupol NV-G5 consists of 78% methoxy polyethylene glycol methacrylate; 17% sodium methacrylate; 3% sodium 2-methylprop-2-ene-1-sulfonate; and 2% methyl acrylate. Chupol A consists of 55-85% methoxy polyethylene glycol methacrylate; 10-35% sodium methacrylate; 0-8% sodium 2-methylprop-2-ene-1-sulfonate; and 0-5% methyl acrylate.

Dear Mr. Goldschmidt: In your letter dated June 28, 2002 you requested a tariff classification ruling. Chupol HP-11B, Chupol NV-G5 and Chupol A are described as water soluble graft copolymers based on the polyether, methoxy polyethylene glycol methacrylate, and formulated for use in concrete to provide strength and high fluidity. Chupol HP-11B consists of 72% methoxy polyethylene glycol methacrylate; 40% sodium methacrylate; 4% sodium 2-methylprop-2-ene-1-sulfonate; and 4% methyl acrylate. Chupol NV-G5 consists of 78% methoxy polyethylene glycol methacrylate; 17% sodium methacrylate; 3% sodium 2-methylprop-2-ene-1-sulfonate; and 2% methyl acrylate.
