Dear Mr. Arnam: In your letter dated May 9, 2002, on behalf of Textus USA, Inc., you requested a tariff classification ruling. You have submitted four samples of new rags. They are unbleached and bleached 100 percent cotton knit fabric panels and are of varying lengths and widths. Your letter states that the rags will be used for paint projects, staining, cleaning, dusting and other household tasks. The rags contain cuts, torn edges, rips, stains and tears.
