Dear Ms. Adams: In your letter dated June 29, 2001 you requested a tariff classification ruling on behalf of Fred J. Miller Inc. The provided sample will be returned as per your request. Style FJ-1 is a half-fingered glove with a complete palmside and a portion of the backside made of goatskin leather. The balance of the glove which includes the fourchettes, the backside knuckle area, and the thumb sidewall are made of knitted nylon fabric inserts.
