Dear Mr. DeCastro: In your letters dated October 25, 2000, and December 6, 2000, on behalf of World Finer Foods Inc., you requested a tariff classification ruling. Samples, ingredients breakdowns, and manufacturing flow charts were submitted with your letters. The samples were examined and disposed of. The rate of duty will be 14.9 percent ad valorem. The rate of duty will be unchanged in 2001. Your inquiry does not provide enough information for us to give a classification ruling on the Swiss Muesli - Original and the Low Fat Granola. Your request for a classification ruling should include a complete description of the manufacturing process for the honey flakes (094), apple flakes (18) and oat flakes (101,102). This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
