A representative sample of the item was submitted with your ruling request. The subject article, which is identified as “sitting frog with silver gazing ball”, is a hollow silver-colored glass ball with an extending open neck that is inserted into an eight inch polyresin frog-shaped base/stand. The glass ball has a reflective (mirror-like) appearance and measures approximately four and one-half inches in diameter. In its imported condition, the glass ball will be packed together with the stand, ready for retail sale. The rate of duty will be 30 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
