Dear Mr. Sveum: In your letter dated February 3, 2000, on behalf of your client J B Silk Ltd., you requested a tariff classification ruling. Two samples of woven fabric accompanied your request for a ruling. Laboratory analysis indicates that the first fabric, designated as Organza Tissue Silver, is a plain woven fabric composed of 85.1 percent metalized yarns and 14.9 percent silk. Weighing 82.3 g/m2, this product will be imported in 112 centimeter widths. The second fabric, designated as Organza Tissue Gold, is a plain woven fabric composed of 85.3 percent metalized yarn and 14.7 percent silk. . Weighing 83.9 g/m2, this product will be imported in 112 centimeter widths.
