As requested the sample will be returned to you. The submitted sample, style PP197547, is a pair of 100% cotton woven woman’s pants. The garment features a waistband with a hook and button closures, zippered front opening, embroidery on the lower portion of each leg and hemmed bottoms. The capri length pants extend to just below the knee. The applicable subheading for style PP197547 will be 6204.62.4020, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for women’s or girls’ suits, ensembles, suit-type jackets, blazers, dresses, skirts, divided skirts, trousers, bib and brace overalls, breeches and shorts: trousers, bib and brace overalls, breeches and shorts: of cotton: other: other, trousers and breeches: women’s: other. The duty rate will be 17.2 percent ad valorem. The duty rate for 2000 will be 17 percent ad valorem. Style PP197547 falls within textile category designation 348. Based upon international textile trade agreements products of Turkey are subject to quota and the requirement of a visa.
