R. Mickelberg Co., Inc., you requested a tariff classification ruling. The Spin Lite is sold as a toy for amusement only and is made of PVC plastic. It is numbered #722. The Sport Lite has high intensity flashing lights and a multiple purpose adjustable strap. It is also made of PVC plastic, and is also sold as a toy for amusement only. It is numbered #6. The applicable subheading for the Spin Lite with Key Chain will be 7326.20.0050, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for articles of iron or steel wire--other. The rate of duty will be 4.3 percent ad valorem. The applicable subheading for the Sport Lite will be 8531.80.9050, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for other electric visual signaling apparatus. The rate of duty will be 1.6 percent ad valorem. The samples are being returned to your office, as requested. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of the ruling or the control number indicated above should be provided with the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
