Samples of the products to be classified were submitted. They will be returned to you as you requested. The samples consist of three different sized snowmen on stands. The snowmen are flat and approximately 3/8 inch thick; they stand 5-1/2, 7-1/2 and 10 inches tall. The snowmen are made of carved wood and are handpainted. The rate of duty will be 4 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
