The submitted samples are women's garments that are manufactured from 100 percent cotton finely knit fabric. Style number 137655 is a woman's jacket which extends below the waist and features a full frontal opening with a heavy duty zipper closure. The jacket has a permanently attached hood with a drawstring tightening; long sleeves with rib-knit cuffs; and two slanted front pockets with zipper closures. The garment also has a rib-knit bottom. The rate of duty will be 16.2 percent ad valorem. The jacket falls within textile category designation 335. The shorts fall within textile category designation 348. Based upon international textile trade agreements, products of Malaysia are subject to quota and the requirement of a visa. The designated textile and apparel categories may be subdivided into parts. If so, visa and quota requirements applicable to the subject merchandise may be affected. Part categories are the result of international bilateral agreements which are subject to frequent renegotiations and changes. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
