Zink Import Production Administrator Talbots 175 Beal Street Hingham, MA 02043 RE: The tariff classification of a girls' knit beach cover-up and woven bib and brace overall from Macau and Hong Kong. Dear Ms. Zink: We refer to ruling letter PD A84575, which was issued to you from the District of Los Angeles on July 1, 1996. In your initial letter to us, dated June 5, 1996, you requested a binding ruling for Styles 71092510 and 71096726. However, on July 1, 1996, ruling letter PD A84575 was issued to you with the second garment's style number inadvertently indicated as 71096762. The correct style number for the second garment should be 71096726. All other information remains the same. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Copies of this supplemental ruling are being provided to all ports where entry of this merchandise will be made. A copy of this letter should be given to your broker and all members of your staff who are involved with clearing merchandise through Customs. If you have any questions pertaining to this matter, please contact National Import Specialist Bruce Kirschner at (212) 466-5865. Sincerely, Roger J.
