Jama 408 East Street New Britain, CT 06051 RE: The tariff classification of Olibanum Gum from Somalia Dear Mr. Jama: In your letter dated May 16, 1994, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The applicable HTS subheading for Olibanum Gum will be 1301.90.9090, Harmonized Tuariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for lac; natural gums, resins, gum-resins and balsams: other: other: other. The duty rate will be free. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of this ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
