Bellevue, WA 98006 RE: The tariff classification of footwear bags from Taiwan or China Dear Mr. Campbell: This classification decision under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS) is being issued in accordance with the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). DATE OF INQUIRY : November 26, 1990 DESCRIPTION OF MERCHANDISE : Shoe bags of synthetic non-woven textiles, to be imported with footwear, one or two bags per pair of shoes. HTS PROVISION : Certain footwear in Chapter 64. HTS SUBHEADINGS : 6401.-6405., depending on the Subheadings of the shoes the bags are imported with RATES OF DUTY : Depend on the Subheadings of the shoes the bags are imported with A copy of this ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
