DATE INQUIRY RECEIVED: March 26, 1990 DESCRIPTION OF MERCHANDISE : Multiple Automatic Tagger (MAT), a machine which utilizes air pressure to attach tags to garments by means of slender plastic hooks HTS PROVISION : Other machines and mechanical appliances having individual functions, not specified or included elsewhere.... HTS SUBHEADING : 8479.89.9090 RATE OF DUTY : 3.7 percent ad valorem A copy of this ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
