Box 249 Sumas, Washington 98295 Dear Mr. Walser: In your letter dated November 16, 1995, on behalf of your client, Universal Machine Works, Inc., you requested a ruling on the tariff classification and status under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), of domestic and foreign made hydraulic cylinders reimported after repair from Canada. We would also like to know the names and locations of both the U.S. and German original manufacturers. Please also advise us of whether or not this ruling request relates to an ongoing transaction between your client and one of the Customs ports. As provided for in Section 181.94 of the Customs Regulations (19 CFR 181.94), you may submit this additional information within 30 days of the date of this notice.
