Dear Mr. Kamnitz: In your letter dated August 7, 1995, on behalf of Polo/Ralph Lauren, you requested a tariff classification ruling. Style number 61-0114590 (PO 75409) is a man's pullover constructed from 100 percent silk, all over 2x2 rib knit fabric that measures 16 stitches per two centimeters counted in the horizontal direction. The garment has a round neck; long sleeves; and a self finished bottom with side slits. Style number 61-0114796 (PO 75431) is a man's pullover constructed from 100 percent cotton knit fabric that measures 10 stitches per two centimeters counted in the horizontal direction. The garment features long sleeves with rib knit cuffs; a rib knit V-neckline; and a rib knit waistband. There is an embroidered logo on the left chest. As requested, your samples will be returned.
