Dear Ms. Rampy: In your letter dated June 21, 1995, on behalf of Polo/Ralph Lauren Corporation, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The sample submitted, style 9316103G is a men's jacket consisting of knitted nylon fabric coated with polyrethane which completely obscures the underlying fabric. The collar, sleeve cuffs and bottom hem are of made of ribbed knit man-made fibers. The garment features a partial zippered opening at the neckline, a ribbed knit collar, long sleeves with ribbed knit sleeve cuffs, a singular large front pocket with two openings each secured by a hook and loop fastener, and a ribbed knit bottom hem.
